One of O.Z.’s earliest memories is his mother lying next to him, trying to coax him into an afternoon nap by reading aloud to him. The lifelong love of literature and the English language those formative experiences embedded into his soul has flourished in the last decade to produce a constant stream of prose, always seeking foremost the truth, tragedy and beauty of the human experience. When he’s not writing, he enjoys leatherwork, making music, and cooking with and for his incredible wife, Grace. O.Z. is a resident of Birmingham, Alabama.
